Frequently Asked Questions
BANKPILOT answers common questions about PSD2 bank sync, recurring payment alerts, rent tracking, pricing, and data handling in Europe.
Is my bank data safe?
Yes. Bank access runs via PSD2 Open Banking through Tink. Your data is primarily stored in your browser. For optional server sync and notification features, an encrypted copy can be stored server-side.
Which banks are supported?
BankPilot supports a wide range of European banks via Tink. Availability depends on provider coverage and your specific institution and country.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel anytime from the Stripe customer portal. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Browser-local data remains on your device unless you delete it. If you used server sync/notifications, encrypted server-side copies may exist; these can be removed by deleting your account or requesting deletion.
How does AI categorisation work?
BankPilot can use AI to automatically categorise your transactions and generate rules, if you actively trigger it.
